Recipes of the Month

I love to cook and bake. Some of my happiest times are in the kitchen. It's my way of stress-relieving and one way in which I get to feel creative. I'm always on the look-out for yummy (and sometimes not as nutritious) recipes to spice up my life - pun intended. Here are my favorites this month:

Baked Quinoa-Crusted Chicken

A healthier take on fried chicken. Quinoa is a whole grain that is gluten free and is much like rice. This recipe is packed with protein. Serve it with some veggies and you have a meal!

 Slow Cooker Granola

Homemade granola made easy! Simply combine your ingredients into your slow cooker, stirring occassionally, and BOOM! Try it with different dried fruits.

Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Soup

Classic comfort food, but with a twist! Take your tomato soup game up a level and add some roasted red peppers and other delicious flavors. Serve with some french bread and enjoy.
